The group is in the NE ¼ of the SE ¼ of Sec. ![]() The mound is located on the southwest corner of Little Elk Lake on County Road 1 and County Road 42. The largest mound (mound number 1) was 82 feet in diameter and 15 feet high. The Christensen Indian Mound was found and partially surveyed by Theodore Lewis in 1890.
